Welcome to OSU Food Science Club Webpage!

The mission of the food science club is,

“To foster a close relationship among the students and faculty of department of Food Science and Technology at The Ohio State University, to encourage leadership, professional development, and to acquaint students with the scope of Food Science and Technology.”

Meetings:

The club usually meets the first Tuesday of every month during Autumn, Winter and Spring quarters. Generally, the meetings involve discussion/announcement of past/upcoming club activities. Dinner (FREE!) is provided during the meetings.

 

Membership:

Active membership is open to all students (undergrads and grads) interested in Food Science and Technology, Food Business Management, and related fields. The membership fee for the year 2009-2010 is $10.00. Please contact any of our officers if you have any questions.

NEWS: ... 

(1) Movie Star aspirations? Our department has been chosen to host the filming of a documentary depicting OSU as one of the Top-Ten universities in the US. Let us know if you’d like to participate.
(2) Chapter of the year! If you are an IFT member please send your IFT number to Luca (serventi1@buckeyemail.osu.edu). The club will be competing this year!
(3) Design our Food Science Club T-Shirt! We’ll be voting in our next meeting to choose our T-shirt design. All ideas are welcome =) (Send design to Luca too).
